Malaysian student Suthesh Gunaseharan graduated in June this year from the London College of Fashion after completing a BA (hons) in Fashion Design and Technology Womenswear. Suthesh had previously completed a Diploma in Fashion and Retail Design at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology on full scholarship and graduated class valedictorian. He has taken part in many competitions – he was a finalist in Lancome International Colours Designs Awards and a semi finalist in Piala Seri Endon Batik and Fashion Design competition two years running.

Residents often support each other by attending final recitals and fashion shows etc. Trudi, myself and a few residents were invited to see Suthesh present his final collection at the London College of Fashion. It was extremely well received, being a stand out for colour palette and structured silhouettes. 

To help pay his way through college and learn the trade, Suthesh works as a sales assistant in the designer clothing section at Selfridges.

Suthesth is not only creative when it comes to fashion, he also plays the piano to high standard and choreographed and starred in school musicals.  All this as well as a Bsc Hons in Chemical Engineering makes him a very rounded person and a valued member of our Student House community.
