(founded in 1901)

Patron: Her Majesty The Queen
Chairman: Mr Lyn D Hopkins BSc, MBA, FCA, ASIP

The Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship was founded to promote friendship and understanding among the peoples of the Commonwealth. The aim of the League is to welcome and help all members and visitors from every part of the Commonwealth—in particular, to give such visitors to the United Kingdom chances of meeting British people and to offer them a wide variety of invitations and opportunities during their stay, whether their purpose is study, business or pleasure. The League also provides students’ accommodation in London at reasonable rates.

The Victoria League is a registered charity. Its funds are drawn from investment dividends, subscriptions and voluntary contributions. No government grant or subsidy is received.
