League Activities

As a member of the Victoria League or our Student House membership, you will never be stuck for something to do. Joining the league is a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people and experience the British way of life.

At the League we maintain a calendar of events and host special occasions throughout the year.

Here is just a taste of some of the activities in our diary:

• Trooping the Colour

• Beating Retreat

• Oxford and Cambridge Boat Races

• Queen’s Birthday Parade

• Commonwealth Day

• Anzac Day

• Barbecues

• Polo matches

• Coffee mornings and luncheons

• Visits to historical places of interest

We also offer members the opportunity to have corporate membership of The Royal Over-Seas League and The New Cavendish Club. Both clubs have superb facilities, dining rooms, stunning gardens, licensed bars, lounges and accommodation.

As a student member, in addition to the many resident events, such as the October Welcome Day and Student Fundraising Concerts there are a number of organised events and functions aimed at our younger members. There are also special offers for half-price tickets to theatre shows and invitations to sporting events for residents and their friends.
