About the Victoria League

The Victoria League maintains a Diary of Events and occasions such as the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race, Trooping the Colour, Beating Retreat, The Queen's Birthday Parade, Commonwealth Day, ANZAC Day and visits to places of interest are well supported by members. Various social events such as barbecues and parties at Victoria League House and Christmas lunch also prove popular with overseas visitors and United Kingdom members. The Victoria League is a member of The Council of Commonwealth Societies. The Greater London Branch provides Poppy Day Appeal collectors and assists with the annual Commonwealth Countries' League Fair.

One of the aims of The League is to provide a safe and friendly 'home from home' for young Commonwealth people who are undertaking full time studies in the United Kingdom.

Victoria League Student House is owned and administered by The League. It is a residential house for students between the ages of 18 and 30 from all Commonwealth or former Commonwealth countries.
