PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM

1. The Victoria League House is a residential hostel for use by members of the Commonwealth, including Britain, who are aged between 18 and 30 years and who are undertaking full time studies in the UK. The House is self catering and the charges include use of facilities.

The house is a quirky Victorian building converted for hostel use, originally in 1953. There have been many improvements over the years, including basement refurbishment and a communal recreation area. We have wireless internet throughout the building.

2. All prospective residents will need to provide confirmation of their college place and a deposit in order to secure a place. Membership of The Victoria League is also a prerequisite.

3. Places are allocated for an academic year, therefore rent is due during holiday periods, excluding the summer.

4. Residents are responsible for the cleaning of their own rooms.

5. As there are a limited number of single rooms, new applicants may be added to a waiting list on receipt of a deposit. It may be necessary to share a room initially in some cases.

2. Membership Student £10.00 Full £25.00

3. Accommodation short term (irrespective of room type) 1-14 nights, cost per night £18.00

4. Accommodation long term

Twin room Shared kitchen per person per week £105.00

Small single Shared kitchen per person per week £108.50

Large single Shared kitchen per person per week £119.00

Single bedsit Includes stove/fridge etc per person per week £126.00

Double Unit Private separate kitchen per person per week £115.50

Dormitory (2 beds) Short term only per person per week £105.00
