The Olivier Award-nominated 2022 production returns to the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse for more side-splitting fun and mayhem this summer. Join us to enjoy Midsummer Mechanicals, based on A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse which was so bold, so brilliant and so chaotic that it went down in theatre history. Sam Wanamaker Playhouse is an elaborately decorative 9-year-old theatre modelled on the candlelit theatres of Shakespeare’s London.
